I have created a Database of Buildings, I now won't to count the number of different Locations that are listet in the database, with wich function can i do that? I have only found functions to count numbers.

u can use countif/countifs(for more criteria)
or share a sample file...
Maybe something like this...
=COUNTA(A2:A100)
Biff
Microsoft MVP Excel
