    Not Including Hidden Cells

I am trying to bring top line of one of the second tab (just in the Most Improved) to the main tab
As you see in the example, the most improved is 'Y' yet when you look at the Most Improved tab the top line is actually 'N' (identity's have been hidden to protect the innocent)

I have to manually hide those from the Most Improved tab, if they are not eligible to win.
I know I can paste this information, just looking to see if excel can help me out

    Thanks in advance!!

Thanks!! So I'm assuming the 104 in the formula means the top line of data/results?

    Re: Not Including Hidden Cells

Subtotal 104 = MAX ignore hidden values
    http://www.techonthenet.com/excel/formulas/subtotal.php

you are the highest Number (Column I) of shown region which coincidentally is how you have sorted it by

in the case where there are more than one...it takes the 1st value..which works for your example
