VLOOKUP changing columns in different worksheet

Hey guys,

So I want to do a VLOOKUP to a different worksheet and then copy this formula in my current worksheet downwards to other cells and would like to see that excel automatically uses the third next colum of the reference worksheet for the the next row in the current. Get it?

Is that somehow possible??

So my first one is =VLOOKUP("LA300*";'[TakeRates2015 Jan-Apr total overview.xls]All'!$1:$65536;2;FALSE)

in the second it should be a 5 instead of 2 for the column, then a 8, then 11, ...

Hey thanks for the quick reply.
Unfortunately this does not yet bake the cake...

I see two problems. One is that it's is not moving in the columns to the right when I move down, second is that it is refering to to columns in the same worksheet, not in the other.

Wait.. it works when I copy the cells to the right.

So I could copy them to the right and then copy all them paste and transpose.
or is there a dircet way.

It works dragging down for me. I attached a file to show what is happening. The ROW() formula is in the column index section of the vlookup so it should be changing the column it pulls from as you drag the formula down.
