Formula help for working out percentage change

Hi guys

Appreciate some help if possible please? I'm usually good at sorting these out, and they're normally quite straightforward but this one has got me - just cannot see the wood for the trees.

Screenshot example below:

First row, the change in reported savings since previous week should show a 10% growth, not -1000%. Any ideas?
The next two rows are correct at 100% because the savings have doubled in size.

Can anyone advise of a formula that shows the 10% growth and also the 100% growth if I drag the formula down to the row below?

try this in =ABS(D2-A2)/D2 or =(ABS(D2-A2)/D2)/100 in E2
