    vlookup?

    Hi,
i've been working on something for a while now and am not sure if i can use a vlookup for this or not.
i have a workbook with two sheets.
one sheet with a list of names and the other sheet with the same list of names but in-between each name there are a bunch of sentences separated by empty rows.
i'd simply like to have the sentences that follow each name in the column to be rearranged to be beside the name instead of below and i can't just copy and paste or something because the list is over 200 names long each with a few sentences following it in the list, so basically a few thousand rows in the one column which i hope will become only just over 200 rows when i rearrange the extra data to be beside instead of underneath.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated
