Wink Help neded with Order and Inventory list.

    Hello, Forum!

I have an excel file where I fill my orders and track the information of my inventory. I am making this file to be as automatic as possible, so I could fill the information without wasting extra time on it.
This file is almost dont. But I need help to make that after I fill in order list for example I sold 4 female S t shirts to UK and DE and it would automatically subtract it from my inventory sheet where are Female S shirts.

I have attached the file to this post. Perhaps someone could take a look at it.

Just ask if something is not clear.

you have a sum calculation with regard to packaging that deducts the sum total of what was used from the order list. You need to create the same sum rule but after the data is filtered by size/gender. You will have to take it step by step. Check for posts on sum total of filtered range.

I was working on a file with a similar function so took a few moments to adapt. I have copied your inventory table to the first worksheet so you can get an idea of the functions in use. Just cut and paste it back to its own worksheet. File attached

your are basically summing your order column for "male small" "male med" etc and then for the female items in each size.

you can now adapt that to take into account all other instances of product type

look up naming ranges to make life easier when referring to areas on differing sheets

    hope that helps

have added a stock sales by type - just choose type by drop down menu cell m18
