(HELP) Growth formula "moving" across columns

I am building a spreadsheet to track the growth of data space on a hard drive.

I have my formatting and beginning formula down. However I am having difficulty getting the formula to "move" across columns. The reason for moving is to separate the months, yet have the growth data move across to get a historical estimate of data.

    Estimated Disk Growth.xlsx

Any assistance on how to get the formula to "move" with changing columns. I can't seem to get it to work.

    Thanks.

I don't understand what you mean by this. Please explain again. BtW, this would be a betteer formula in B9

= GROWTH($B$7:B8,$A$7:A8,A9:A21). As you drag it down the $ signs anchor the cell references at B7 and A7 in the starting part of the two arguments.

I see my mistake, I was saying rows when I meant columns.

In column A & B, the formula works (thanks for the tip on adding the $), however when I try to move over to column I & J, I can't seem to get it to recognize data from A & B to allow the estimated growth to continue.

No can do. GROWTH requires the Xs and Ys each to be in a single column (unless someone smarter than me knows of a workaround)...
