I have a spreadsheet that I want to try keep track if something has been recieved or not that month.
for backround info, I have a macro that pulls in the data ( various reports and the months recieved ) for the year for report that I run monthly.
What i was hoping to get is a formula that will pick up a particular report for the particular month and say if it is recieved or not.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Please upload a workbook or a representative cut down copy, anonymised if necessary. It is always easier to advise if we can see your request in its context.
Show a before and after situation with manually calculated results, explaining which information is data and which is results, and if it's not blindingly obvious how you have arrived at your results some explanatory notes as well.

Your existing vlookup formula refers to another workbook which of course I don't have. You also say you have a macro that pulls in the data but tere are no macros in the workbook you attached.
I'm therefore not clear exactly what you are doing and I'm not clear what is data and what are results. For instance is the table in A1:M7 the results you want or is this data? Ditto E12:E21.
If you're looking to analyse a separate workbook/csv file then it's probably better if we start with that.
Upload it and in an Excel sheet manually create a typical set of results that you expect to derive from the data file.

I have attached the sheet I am working on. I am looking for a formula that will pull in the report that corresponds to a certain month.
It's still not clear to me where you want to put a formula. Which sheet and where. In addition manually add some typical results so that we can understand the end goal.
My aim is that when I get data for the month on the reports being recieved in the system or not, I can use the data to generata table list of each individual report.
I am hoping to generate data saying if something is there or not for a specific month and that I get a formula that will take that into account , then have a second S/S to feed the results into the S/S 'Valuation statements'
