Need to compare values in 2 Columns & return result for what was found

I need to compare the Values in Column A to the Values in Column C (there are values in Col A that will not be found in Col C), if not found return result of Col A & Col B in Col G & H. If found put results of Col A, B, D & E in Col G, H, I & J. To make matters more confusing some of the values in Col A are missing the last digit of the number but almost matches with Col C (don't know if this is do-able - if not return result of just Col A & B so I can manually check these). I am flexible with the results. If you can only compare Col A to Col C, that would be helpful and if I could add Col B to the result, that would be work for me.

It doesn't have to be in the same spreadsheet if there is a way to do this with a Pivot Table or some other formula/process. I hope someone can help me and that this is not too difficult a problem to solve.

It looks close but in Col A I need to search all of column C to see if it finds a match, not just compare A & C across the row. For example A8 correlates to C14, A9 to C15 etc. Thank you for trying to help me.

Yes, I think that did it. I just need to modify the formula's since my list is longer than the sample I provided. I will definately give you reputation. Thank you so much for your help with this.
