    Rotating Seniority List

I am trying to create a list that rotates the name (Column a) with the most current date (Column b) to the bottom of the list. Knowing it may not always be the 1st name in a column to be moved to the bottom. In the example, when a date is entered next to the name, then that name will be rotated to the bottom of the list.

I suppose you get better help on your question if you add on this forum what the end-goal of this sheet is.

What do you want to achieve (and why)?

You want to analyze the data, sort the data, copy the data?
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

    Re: Rotating Seniority List

    Thanks for the input.

My end goal is to have a running list so I know who is next for a duty location, sorted by seniority first then by who had the last assignment. So the most senior person gets 1st pick but then moves to the bottom once they are selected. So basically I can tell who is the next person to get the prime duty location.

If there are no duplicate dates in column B.

See the green cells in the attached file.

I made this with index / match.

You could hide the yellow cells (column C).
