Can't make number of rows in table dynamic

I am working on a spreadsheet for work and have come across a problem.

I have a table with a bunch of formulas in it, and the left hand column contains a list of the associate's names that the data is for. I am trying to set it up so that you can select the manager's name from a drop down list and it will bring up the associates on their team. My problem is, when the list of associates is transferred to the table, the number of rows doesn't change. I need it to because there is a total row underneath it. Any help?

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

HI, welcome to the forum

I need it to because there is a total row underneath it.
If I understand you, you have a total row (in, say, row 20), that sometimes needs to move up or down rows, based on the qty of data above it?

If that is the, then no, there is no formula that will "move" up or down, based on what is above it, that would require VBA

However, 2 things come to mind for this...
1. put the totals at the top, instead of down the bottom? This has the added advantage, if you fix titles, of having the totals always visible
2. Perhaps you could convert your data to a structured table...although, even then, Im not sure you could make the totals row "move" on its own
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
