Excel Stat Tools - Forecasting and Regression

Hey!

I am taking a course in which I need to work on multiple regression and forecasting. I also need to work with linear modeling along with exponential curve forecasting and exponent smoothing. I am having a difficult time teaching this process to myself with the help of stat tools. Is there anybody out there who wouldn't mind talking for a little and helping to walk me through the process of performing these takes?

Thanks for the reply! I'm just basically trying to learn how to do various forecasting models based on two columns of data. One being a time series and the other total sales. I am not sure the formatting in order to use stat tools! I have been unable to find walkthroughs on the internet if you have any resources on hand that would be great!
