Open .zip folder using excel formula

Hello, I have a folder full of broken zip files I need to open working duplicates of.
The working duplicates will be named the same as the broken originals but with a " (1)" on the end.
To avoid manually opening the working duplicates I want listed the broken zip files in an excel spreadsheet, removed ".zip", and added " (1).zip" on the end.
Then I used =HYPERLINK(xx) formula to get active links of these working zip files. However, I get this error when clicking on the hyperlink:

"Alert

Cannot open the specified file."

Any idea why and how I can solve this issue?

Why don't you try this method? Use Firefox which will get the filenames with hyperlink while doing the copy paste in excel.

Getting the filenames isn't the problem, its opening them from excel.
