Formula for computing students grades based on some criteria

Hi.
I have a table of students names, and I want to compute their grades based on some penalties:

Now, I want the final grade to be calculated based on those penalties, where every penalty weighs differently.
In other words, each student start with 100, and has his initial grade of 100 reduced according to those penalties that has X in them.

For example, suppose penalty1=20, penalty2=30, penalty3=40, and penalty4=10.
Then, studentA's final grade will be: 70, studentB's final grade will be: 40, and studentC's grade will be: 50.

What formula can I use, such that their grades will be conditioned by those penalties with X in them?
