    Ignoring blank lines of data

I have a spreadsheet of units for a wargame. The spreadsheet allows for that model of unit to be used up to three times. Each time can be individual, depending on pilot skill.

I want the spreadsheet to gather all of the data into one group. I don't care how it's sorted, I'm leaving that to the user after the data is gathered. This information is gathered for the purposes of printing in a simple and easy form.

Since I have a possibility of 100 different units, I have another tab where I have the data I need stacked vertically (300 rows). How do I strip the empty rows out?

I have included an example of the data and output. Thanks!

    Memphismark:
Make yourself a Pivot table. Eliminate or give dummy headings to the columns with no data (L, P, and T. All columns need a heading for PT source data).
I think that's more efficient than juggling IF statements, Lookups or Index/match formulas.
A PT with some thought will give you the output desired.

As Pete mentioned, a pivot table is probably your best bet. Unfortunately, you'll need to have your data set up in a nicer way in order to get much use from a pivot table. (Having multiple columns like Pilot, or Points, makes it hard).

I've attached a sheet with a way to organize the data in the way that makes creating a useful pivot table a little easier. If re-organizing your data seems like a ridiculous amount of work there may be a easier way to get it from A to B. I'd suggest uploading the entire file, if it has no sensitive data.

    Hope this helps!
