Scenario Table or What If Analysis?

    Hi all

Really hoping one of you wonderful wizards can help me...

I have an calculation that returns a single value, but 4 of my inputs to the value are variable.

I have set myself up a table for all of the possible outcomes (144 different scenarios I think), but need a way of excel automatically populating it based on the combination of variables used.

    Spreadsheet attached.

Any help (or even just somebody telling me what i'm asking isn't possible) would be appreciated!! Scenario Table Help!.xlsx

Simple macro would do this in fraction of second:

    Hi Kaper

Thanks very much for the response, although this doesn't seem to work in the file you attached.

If, for example, I need to amend the private unit size across all scenarios (which isn't a scenaio) , the resulting outputs in the table don't change.

I'm not sure what you mean by private unit (currency? acres agaunst square feet?) - anyway - you have to include it in your table (additional column) and then refer to in the formulas.

To see howe macro in attached file works delete content of column P and run it.

Macro (this is how I understood your request) takes from columns L:O four values from one row.
Copies to column C (range C5:C8) and forces recalculatuion of the workbook.
Then copuies the result from E24 to appropriate row in column P.
And takes next row - until last with available data.

Just to make sure: If your cells display as 1.00 GBP or 100% Or 1.00USD - for excel it is just number 1.

And additional advice: if you want to have final values visible in "calculation part" to be these from row 3 of your "scenarios table" just change the loop to go bottom->up direction.
