Data in a linked cell changes when the source sheet is sorted, needs to point to same data

Hello, this may be an easy one. I have an inventory tracking workbook. Tab 1 has my full inventory of stocked items with 5 vendors and various locations where items are stored.

Tabs 2 through 6 are sub sheets for each vendor and points to data on the Tab 1, but also includes automated ordering parameters.

My problem is when I link a cell on tab 2 to a cell on tab 1 the data in the linked cell changes if I sort the data on tab 1. I want the linked cell to point to the same piece of data on tab 1 regardless of what particular cell it happens to be in.

Is this possible?

How are you doing the linking?
What does your data look like?
can you upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.

I don't know how to attach/upload a spread sheet.

I was using the = sign, then clicking the tab for the appropriate sheet, then clicking the cell to reference. This works fine until I sort the worksheet the cell link is pointing to. Since its pointing to a cell reference and not an absolute particular piece of data the data in the linked cell changes each time I sort the main sheet. I will try to figure out how to upload a sample of the workbook.

Well, i removed the links because they were pointless

Ok, here is a new upload. In this example on the Aldi tab cell O2 points to 'Full Inventory' O2. And Aldi tab O3 points to 'Full Inventory' O3.

All well and good. However if I sort the data on Full Inventory by say Item, or Location the Data in Full Inventory O2 and O3 changes, thereby rendering the information on the Aldi tab useless. How do I make the cell link point to the same piece of data regardless of what cell it resides in?
