Need a formula to look at a cell and identify if it starts with a Y

I have air data that includes whether a flight is domestic or international and the origin airport and destination airport. I want to reclassify some of the data from international to domestic by looking the fields.

If the row of data is international and the origin or destination fields begin with a Y, then the new field would equal domestic.

Example:
(used . instead of spaces so the view of fields would display correctly)

Domestic/International.........Origin Airport........Destination Airport........Updated D/I Field
International.......................YOW....................NYC...........................Domestic
International.......................ONT.....................YVR...........................Domestic

Put this in D2:

=IF(AND(A2="International",OR(LEFT(B2)="Y",LEFT(C2)="Y")),"Domestic",A2)

Then copy down as required.
