    Identify Same Day Trip Starts

What I've created is a spreadsheet that represents different schedules for pilots. The number "2" represents the start of a new trip, and the number "1" represents subsiquent day(s) of flying.
A 1 day trip would look like this:
    2

A multiple day trip would look like this:
    2
    1
    1
    (etc)

I'm trying to figure out how many lines have trips that start on the same day consistantly.

I know only lines 4,7,13,14,21,22,&25 all meet the criteria, but I can't figure out how to get excel to read it and give me a total.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Identify Same Day Trip Starts

My gf is a FA so I actually understand the question.

Step one is to sum the values for each weekday and then divide it by the number of times that weekday occurs in the month, and then flag if the result is 2 (meaning that weekday always has a trip start on it). Step two is to compare how many 2's were found in step one versus how many 2 ares in the line; if they're equal then the line only has trips that start on the same day(s) of the week for the entire month.

See my attached worksheet. I used conditional formatting to highlight the matches. Note that I came up w/ 4, 7, 13, 18 and 22. But your weekday column had an error so that change might explain the difference in results.
