Bit of a strange one with Vlookup and Iferror

    Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me with this one.

My workbook consists of the following:
Sheet1 = Incomplete data but has unique values that are contained in Sheet2 and Sheet3
Sheet2 = First table of data
Sheet3 = Second table of data

In Sheet1, I've used an IFERROR to vlookup Sheet2, and if there's an error, vlookup Sheet3.

It's pulling through all ok, until I go to sort the data.

When I sort, my lookup_value does not move with the sorted cells and acts as if it's a relative reference.

Has anyone else come across this before? Alternatively if anyone can help with a different formula that would be great.

    Thanks,
    JF

We're going to need more information (a sample book attachment would help)

    What is the actual formula?
    When you sort WHAT?
What exactly happens (or doesn't happen) when you sort?
What do you expect to actually happen when you sort?

Hi, sorted now - I had to change the formula.
