Question Automatically fill (non-updateable) date when certain cells full

    Good Morning All,

I'm guessing this is reasonably simple (maybe), but I can't work it out. I'm using this:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    in cell W4

Simple enough, when M4-P4 are full, todays date appears in W4. What I need is that date NOT to update whenever the sheet is reopened. It can't be done manually, as the workbook is huge, and columns M-P reference other sheets etc. The date that appears in column W is used as a reference for future reviews of the data.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

If you are putting true value as today function in if formula then it can not possible to stop auto update today date, when workbook will reopen in next date. However thur VBA it can be possible.

    Ask VBA expert.

Thank you, I've obviously put this in the wrong forum.
