I need help to fix the formula for number of days between sale date and purchase date based on the Lot #

I have a purchase date above and below I have a sales date for the respective lot #. Just I need a formula to count the number of days between these two dates based on the creteria.
Lot # is the criteria.Lot # is 1,2,3,4,5 etc. Hope u got it.

With purchase info on sheet1 (Date in B), sales on sheet2 (Date in B)
With lot # in A1
=VLOOKUP(A1, Sheet2!$A$2:$B$500,2, False)- VLOOKUP(A1, Sheet1!$A$2:$B$500,2,FALSE)

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires
