Index Match bin numbers to materials.jpg

Hi,

Details are in the attachment, but basically what I'm trying to do is this:

I have a feed system that uses 19 bins. I have PI tags that tell me the material from each feeder, so it's easy to run a query that tells me what material is in each bin each day.

For the report I'm writing, I need to know what bin(s) each material is in. So the above table has the bin numbers as column headers but I want to translate that to materials as column headers for a specified date range.

No variation of Index/Match I've found on the net works, normal or array. I have partially succeeded using a formula of 19 nested if statements, but for materials that are in multiple bins, this will only return the first bin it finds, not all of them.

I really want to be able to automate this so anyone can use the sheet to generate a report, so any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Please upload a sample of your workbook, not a picture of your data. Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff) - and, depending on what browser is being used, some pics dont even show up on the forum

Your workbook should show a small desensitized example of the data you are working with and a manual mockup of the expected results.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
