    Vlookup problem

    Hello:

    Please refer to attached file.
    For some reason i am getting Vlookup error in cell H37.
    Please help with this.

    Looks like Excel is treating your concatenation as text for some reason. Change your concatenation formula to =VALUE(C37&"/1/"&$A$37) on E37, and vlookup should work properly.

    Replace F37 copied down with

    =DATE($A$37, C37,1)

    Your current formula returns text not a number (date)

    substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

    Hi

    Also note that the date in A2 is 1/3/2016 which is not in the vlookup data hence the error.

    Dates in Column F are TEXT so need converting to proper dates.

    Why not enter them as 01/01/2016, 01/02/2016 (UK dd/mm/yyyy)?
