Problem in vlookup. It is a BUG?

    Good am/evening guys!

I encounter a problem with the number digit using VLOOKUP

in B1 if I input range from 001 to 871 (Format: Text) it will show the output BUT if I input 872 to 1000 the output will be 1161 but when you search the 872 the value is 872 and not 1161

is there a limit to it?

the range are from A4:B1164 like that..

    here's the perfect sample...

    sample.xlsx

I can input only from 001 to 871... but when I input 872 the result will be 1161 it must be 872

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

    here's the link

Can you upload an example workbook?

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Amend your formula to

    =VLOOKUP(B1,A4:B1164,2,FALSE)

    and it seems fine...
