Find the mode for a specific month/year?

In Sheet1, I have a list of dates in column A with varying words in column B.

On Sheet2, I want to be able to find the most often occuring word from column B of Sheet1, but only for the month of February 2016.

Is this possible? I can't wrap my head around it. I've attached an example file to work with, so in this particular example - it would return the value 'Bananas' as this is the most often occuring word for February 2016.

Is there any possible formula which would do this, preferably? I've tried a pivot table but this doesn't fit conveniently for my full spreadsheet
