How to get sheet reference to display nothing if cell referenced is blank

Hello

This is the forumla I am using:

='Stadium Hours'!c26

If c26 of "Stadium Hours' worksheet is blank, excel is puting data in the sheet. I would much rather it stay blank, until I put data in c26.. Is there a way to do this?

Can I do the same type of thing with:

=(D23-D22)*24 type of forumla? This isn't a sheet reference however... just a cell on the sheet I am working on.. if nothing is in the cells it calculate from, it says "value".....would like it to just 0 until something valid is entered....

Note, for that error to happen, it is likely the cell (D22 or D23) is not empty but has a space or text value in it.
