DAverage formula help

I'm having problems trying to get the daverage formula to work.

In cells n10:n11, I'm supposed to use the DAVERAGE function.

In the new output area, Grade A includes all students whose grade is A+, A, or A-, Grade B includes all students whose grade is B+, B, or B-.

I've been writing the formula as =daverage(a2:h12,"scholarship_amount",m2:m4), but when I press ENTER, I keep getting #VALUE!

I feel like I'm missing something basic.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

your formula: =daverage(a2:h12,"scholarship_amount",m2:m4)
m2:m4 has no label, should be m1:m4
"scholarship_amount" - this is different then
"Scholarship
Amount"
because there is no underscore but exist space and CHAR(10). Better use column number. In this case: 6
