calculation excel

dear,

could someone help me with the following - see excel attached for details:

- how to calculate with a formula in excel the number of months between two quarters (i have a separate column for the quarter and one for the year for start and end year)
- how to calulate the number of quarters between those two quarters
- how to plot the same amount of mandays in the time according to the amount of quarters calculated(equally plotted based upon the mandays) starting from the starting quarter and year

You're going to have to be clearer on your definition of 'between quarters'

Should the start quarter be considered as the FIRST day of that quarter, while the End quarter is considered the LAST day of that quarter?
Should we only consider the months that are actually BETWEEN but not including the start and end quarter (If it's Q1 to Q3, should only April May and June be counted ?)
