    Help with creating hyperlink

    Hi,
I have been using the site for a while with all of the useful information and this is my first post. Let me know if this fuctionality is not available with Excel.
So, this is what I have....
I have created a mileage grid sheet for work which also has a drop down box (From & To) that will pull the mileage data between the 2 locations and display it in the Distance column

    Mileage Capture.PNG

    My question is.....
Is there any way to have Excel create a hyper link to a web address for the map directions based on what is chosen in the From and To Fields?
Here is a URL for directions from Hartford, CT. to Waterbury, CT. "https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Hartford,+CT/Waterbury,+CT/"
Does Excel have the ability to change "Hartford,+CT" to something else based on what is chosen in the "From" drop down box, and also change "Waterbury,+CT" based on what is chosen from in the "To" drop down box.
Then, in theory, I would have a link which I could click on that would bring me to the appropriate Google map for directions.

Please let me know if I did not explain properly or if I can provide any additional information.
Thanks for your help and input!

    Re: Help with creating hyperlink

    1. It would help to see the workbook.

You get better help on your question if you add a small excel file, without confidential information.

Please also add manualy the expected result in your file.

    To Attach a File:

    1. Scroll down to the window below your post Additional Options
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.

does =hyperlink(a1) makes a hyperlink in this case?
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.
