Auto-Populate date range in grade book sheets based from sheet 1 link

I have search high and low and can not find any help. I have a grade book I have built that is divided into weeks per sheet. I would like to take the module (class) start date from "Student Roster" (sheet 1) and copy the link to the first day of class "Week 1" (sheet 2 )and then it populate the dates for the week across each day for 5 days total for that week then I want it to populate for each of the four weeks in the module.
I would also like to ignore weekends and holidays imputed into another sheet so it does this all automatically for each of the four sheets of the module. (week1)(week2)(week3)(week4)
I have tried to use =workday and have failed. (ex. =workday('Student Roster'!$I$12,5,'holidays'!$a$2:$a$30)
Can anyone help me understand what I am doing wrong?
Please note only "week1" has added cells above the day numbers for the required date and day formatted "d-ddd" but erased in this file.

hi you example cannot be opened as it is password protected.

can you either unprotect it or provide the password

    Good Afternoon,
I apologize I forgot to unlock the file. It has been replaced with an unlocked version. "Week 1" has an example of what I want to happen. The "Attendance Hours" is the only section that needs to populate the days/date. the others one that sheet will have the permanent link to that section. Each week will need to populate from the next day of the week after the last day from week 1. I don't want to use vba as it will be on a server that has policy rules that prevent from using macros.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer on this.

OK I hope that I have picked you up on what you need. (Student Roster was still password protected)

    1. Date from "Student Roster" I12 to be start date on Week1 then Week2 +7 days, Week3 +14 days, Week4 +21 days.

I called G7 "STDATE" (named range) on Week1 then copied across ie STDATE+1 etc

    Week2 G7 STDATE+7 then copied across ie STDATE+8 etc

    2. create a named range on "holiday" called "leave"
    add up to 30 dates

    3. Holiday dates from "holiday" sheet list to be highlighted on sheets Week1, Week2, Week3, Week4 by date/day

    (conditional formatting)

I want to thank you for the work you put in on this, however this isn't even close to what I needed to happen. But thats ok.
I was only wanting the header to each section to populate the date/ day based on one user input.
I have changed a few things and resolved that it is not possible. I also decided to not copy the date / day to each header
because I decided to use for another purpose.

But I do want to thank you anyway...
