Discussion: Multiple if: What we can do with it?

Hi pro,

I like excel so much and I have written a post about nested if. I would like to summary my post about what we can do with nested if in excel:

- How many number of If inside one nested if formula
- Basic applied: convert mark from number into text
- Calculate commission based on volumn of sale
- Or we can make an interative sale report with multiple if statement
-....

Many things we can do with it, is'nt it?

And I am eager to receive your advices, ideas,... about this topic.

If allowed, i will add your comments to make my post more interesting and to be a good source for excel learner.

Excellent article. I think there would also be merit in addressing the alternatives to using IF such as VLOOKUP (especially with the TRUE option) and just plain LOOKUP or maybe even CHOOSE. At least acknowledge that these alternatives exist and link to separate articles addressing them.
