Count if there is a new order/ sum if there are multiple items being ordered by one person

We’re manually counting orders that come in and are fulfilled. First, I need a spreadsheet to count the number of orders received. Second, I need to know how many separate line items were ordered by the customer. So if a customer ordered multiple line items, I need to see it broken out so for examples

NEW ORDERS
1st line item ordered 6
2nd line item ordered 2
3rd line item ordered 1
4th line item ordered 1
5th line item ordered 1
6th line item ordered 1
7th line item ordered 1
8th line item ordered 1
9th line item ordered 1
10th line item ordered 0

In the attached is one simple method using a helper column (column T on the first sheet).
This is simply a progressive count of the shopping basket ID.

The second sheet then counts the occurrences of each number in the helper column to give the results.
