Hello Everyone,
So here is my problem. I learned how to reference cells on different sheets to calculate mathematical questions
but now I cant figure out how to get cells to change when its just text involved. I have 4 pages of information from various food companies
Some of these companies are on more than one sheet if they sell more than one product category and I want the text information to change on all sheets if I change it on one. For example,
one cell may say Company123 on two sheets because this company sells two types of food. I realized that the name of the company is actually Company124
so when I change the name on one sheet I want it to automatically change on the other sheet too. All of the column titles are the same on these sheets as far as
Company name, address, city, county, state, phone, # of employees, etc. And the pages are meat companies, cheese companies, vegetable companies, etc. and
if a company sells more than one item then the info is on more than one sheet. Lets say that now we have excluded a company from qualifying and so I cross the company
off of the current sheet that I am using. I dont want to have to go to the other sheets to find it and cross it off also. I cant just delete them because we are adding companies as we go and
if the name gets added again I want everyone to see that it has been crossed off and excluded from qualifying. Another example would be that I have found out that the company website address
that i entered is incorrect. I want the website address cell on all the sheets to be the same if I change it on any sheet.
Does anyone know what I am talking about? I appreciate any advice.
