Text to Columns and Transpose

I am trying to separate the class list (Column B) with each class in its own column. The class names are separated by #. I can get the text to columns, and then transpose, but the result still does not let me be able to filter by class name (ex. each instructor would be able to get a list of attendees for each of their classes. I'm wondering if there is a formula or function to get the result I'm looking for. I'm stumped.
