I would like to be able to use a formula to add up the total sales per day of the week over a sales month. I can add the cells up manually but this will change with each new month
for example I have already used formula to put the total sales in on day 1 day 2 day 3 etc for each month. If i wanted to use a formula to calculate the total sales for all the mondays in each month all the tuesdays etc
the table i have to use so far has one column for day of month so day 1, 2, 3 etc, column two is the actual day that is equal to for that month so monday, tuesday, wednesday etc
and column 3 is the total sales for that day.
Excuse my poor grammar and terminology
