Formula to compare cell values against each other

I am trying to simplify a time-consuming process and I have attached a small sample workbook (the original could contain hundreds of players). Each of the player comparisons have identical formulas in rows B through T. Currently I am changing the row number in each formula (column B) to the appropriate player row listed in rows 15 through 24, and dragging it to column T. I was wondering if it were possible to simply list the row number being compared (as I did in columns V and W), and that would correctly alter the formula in each result row. If so, it would save me a great deal of time.

I am a novice but I have learned quite a bit on this site and received such good feedback. Thanks in advance for anyone who could point me in the right direction.

Thank you for the response but this does not calculate correctly for me. Your formula actually compares the numbers in B15:B24 and provides a net result. I need the result to only be +1, -1, or 0 in each cell based on the numbers being compared. A smaller number will be +1 and a larger number would be -1 and the same number would be 0.

romananhrm...Also, the formulas provided in my sample workbook work perfectly. I am trying to automatically change those formulas to the row number I indicate in columns V & W, instead of doing all cells manually.
