    Solve the puzzle???

    Hi All,

    I have been trying to work out how the following calculations have been created? How did they get to the value shown in the column with the circle?

    Any maths pro's out there that can work it out?

    My guess was it was it was this but it isn't right???

    without a excel file it is hard to tell.

    please also change the title of your question to a more usefull one (according to the forumrules).

    So the 1st one isn't 8.169 - 2.413 = 5.756?

    It is But I don't have any of those values, so if you can tell me how to get 2413 or 5756 then I can do the rest...

    It just doesn't seem to add up to me???

    As oeldere stated in their post, "without a excel file it is hard to tell."
    Can you attach the file you are working with?

    I find that I need to try to understand the underlying "real world problem" as part of trying to come up with something like this. I cannot read the text. Google translate suggests that we are trying to look at the relationship between solar electricity production and consumption. Does that sound right? If so, do you believe that there should be some kind of correlation between production and consumption? The data in your picture suggests and "inverse" relationship (if one exists) between consumption and production. Does that seem reasonable?
