Formula to return Pivot Table data source

Hi,

Is it possible to write a formula that returns the data source for pivot table (same sheet)?

I'm regularly updating the data source for tables to pull from more updated tables, and It'd be nice to see what the source is for a particular pivot table w/o going into 'Change Data Source' each time

My hopes aren't up, but thought I'd ask
(it's ok if the formula is based in vba -- as long as I don't have to 'run' it each time I want to see the result)

It would help if you provided a sample workbook (with any proprietary information removed).

However, why not make the data source a table? Then it would be dynamic and you wouldn't have to go into "change data source".
