Formula to update calendar appointments (sheet 1) from filtered to do list (sheet 2)

    Hello Folks,

I need help with creating a formula. I have Googled for days and have not found anything that will do what I need the template to do. I have 2 sheets, one is the calendar and the other is the list. When data is entered on the list, it is populated to the calendar. I would like to place a filter on the list to show only a certain criteria based on who will be viewing the calendar. The problem is that it does not update the calendar.

The filtered To-Do list is only a collapsed version of the entire list. The other stuff is still there, so can be found by your formulae in the calendar.

    Hi,

Thanks for your quick response. I am not sure what you mean, I am very new to formulas. Maybe I didn't explain myself well. The calendar "Homework Calendar" needs to be printed but personalized based on class. It filters on the "Homework List" but still shows on the "Homework Calendar". I want to show only what is visible or not filtered.

    Thanks

What I am saying is that you can't filter out items on the calendar by applying a filter to the to-do list.
