How to count data entered in previous month and last week

    Hi,

I wanted to know if anyhow we can have a formula for calculating number of time a data occurred during previous month and also, last week. Any help would be great.

    Internal PM Worked on
    Huey McDuck 5/5/2016
    Huey McDuck 6/7/2016
    Huey McDuck 6/2/2016
    Dewey McDuck 6/3/2016
    Webby Beakley 6/7/2016
    Huey McDuck 6/7/2016
    Dewey McDuck 6/7/2016
    Huey McDuck 6/7/2016

Expected result: For previous month - 1
    For last week - 2

    Thanks!

Assuming you dates are in C column then

    For previous month try

    =SUMPRODUCT(--(MONTH(C2:C9)=MONTH(EOMONTH(TODAY(),-1))))

For last Week -2 how you are calculating can you please explain

    Thanks for your help!

    1) Previous month is working if i enter the formula in the same sheet but not working if the formula is entered in another sheet

    2) 2 is calculation for the data occurring between May 30 till June 5 i.e. the previous week.
