    Number of days since a dry day

    Dear all,

    4 years ago, I have asked through this forum about Maximum length of dry spell. The formula provided by zbor is very useful for me to create a climate early warning for drought.

    Now I would like to calculate "Number of days since a dry day" which is just a reverse from "Number of Days Since Last Rain" formula in the post#11
    I have been try to modify the formula, but no luck. As I am not mastering in Excel, so I just try and error.

    RD = RainDay
    1 = Rain
    0 = Dry

    Can anybody help me to solve the problem?

    I can't download from the site you provide, but I've had a look at the previous thread and the file (rain.xls) in post 5 there.

    I've put the 'number of days since last dry day' in a row under the data, using this formula in B5 then dragged right:

    If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.

    Thank you very much for your help. I have downloaded the spreadsheet and tried your formula provided using my spreadsheet that I have uploaded before and it's works. You rocks!!
