results Vlookup / sumif formula needed

hi im wanting to use a formula on the home side and away side of my spreadsheet that looks up the different values from the middle results of each game
i did ask this a few months back but i lost all my work please help

what i would like it to do is to somehow add up all the games played, wins, losses and so on

the table in yellow is just a marker to tell me if the formula works

Hello jono121ukk,,

Please see the attached file. I used a bunch of Countif and Sumproduct (Excel told me that Countifs and Sumifs are not available for Excel 2003, and since your file is .xls, I used sumproduct instead)

The only problem is that idk how you got those numbers "on both team to score, no", other than that everything else is the same.

(I also think you should include some reasons on why Vlookup / Sumif is needed, it'll help others to find this thread if they are seeking for the same thing - something like "Vlookup / Sumif to calculate soccer points" for e.g)

this is perfect, but only one problem the both teams to score no formula does not work..

with help ive been shown the formula to look up the results in the middle part of the spreadsheet but one does not work... also the end column im trying to write a formula for any help would be greatfull

using a WPS office program
