    $currency format copy question

    Hi all
    I have the value 4.5 in A1 cell formatted to currency so displays the column contents as $4.50.
    In another column I want to display a line of of text with this price displayed inside it. ="($Todays price is:"&A1&"etc etc) , however displays as 'Todays price is $4.5 ' How can I get it to add a 0 where needed? Thanks for the help.

    Re: $currency format copy question

    Maybe =("Today's price is"&" $ "&A1 & 0) because it is a string

    Edit: I like Wayne's solution better, however.

    Hi,

    I would note that you need 0 rather than # for missing 0s in the display:

    ="Todays price is: "&TEXT(A1,"$#,##0.00")&" etc etc"

    Re: $currency format copy question

    Great solution thanks. End result worked like a treat : ="1-24 ("&TEXT(A1,"$0.00")&");25-49 ("&TEXT(A2,"$0.00")&");50-99 ("&TEXT(A3,"$0.00")&");100-249 ("&TEXT(A4,"$0.00")&");"
