    Excel formulas to accrue PTO based on hire date and track accrued PTO that is used

    Hello,

    I need to calculate PTO accrual based on hire date and track PTO. An employee will accrue 120 hours of vacation for 1-5 years of service, 160 hours of vacation for 6-10 years of service, and 176 hours of service for 11+ years of service. Each employee has a separate work sheet. Can anyone help? (I think I attached a sample of the worksheet I'm trying to use.)

    If I understand correctly you want to automate the populating of cell C6 (monthly accrual). If so try the following formula:

    Hello jjmaddog9. Welcome to the forum.

    You may not have noticed, but this thread is nearly 4 years old. It is doubtful any of the original participants are still monitoring activity on this.
