Angry After update Paste formulas now pastes values... 2010 version

I know that Microsoft is wanting everyone to go to their new product Office 365, but making the version I have already bought and paid for not work anymore is unacceptable.

I have automatic updates on the computer and they installed last night. I use Excel HEAVILY on a daily basis. After the update, when I copy and paste, the formulas do not paste. Just the values only. It has always been just one step - PASTE. Now it is PASTE SPECIAL - FORMATS & then a second time PASTE SPECIAL - FORMULAS.

This is not acceptable. QUIT MESSING WITH THE SOFTWARE THAT I NOW OWN!!!

Re: After update Paste formulas now pastes values... 2010 version

Seems to work OK for me. I'm using Office 2010 (32 bit) on 64 bit Windows 7.

Copying a formula and pasting it works. Copying a formula and using Paste Special | Formulas works.

There have been a raft of Office updates applied today but, to be fair, it looks like the last Excel update was on 14 July 2016.

This a list of all the updates that was installed last night to my Microsoft Office Professional 2010.
Does anyone know which one of these I could uninstall to make this problem go away?
As I said, I use Excel EVERY DAY! I really don't want to have to take all of these extra steps each time.

I listed them all, because it was one of these that made my Excel quit being compatible with older versions of Excel and I can no longer open those files...

Security Excel 10 - KB3115322 was the Excel update on (for me) the 14 July 2016.

I guess you've tried the basics like rebooting and/or Repairing Excel?

Re: After update Paste formulas now pastes values... 2010 version

I have discovered that the older problem was corrected when I changed the settings as indicated in this post...

But my newest problem of not pasting my formulas has not gone away. Would it be safe to uninstall that update KB3115322?

It's a security update so it's a risk that you would have to accept.

As an aside, do you use Skype and, in particular, Skype Click to Call?

No, I don't use Skype. We don't use that at work and that is where I use Excel the most.

Ok, just a thought. Click to Call used to do nasty things.
