Formula for Predictions League - 3 points correct score or 1 point correct result

Hi,

I've been using the attached Excel sheet for a few years now for my office football predictions league, and now the numbers have risen i'd like to make it easier to input.

the scores are 3 points if the predictor gets the score correct, and 1 point if they get the result correct but not the score.

I've been manually inputting this info in previously, but wondered if there is a formula that i can use that i can simply input the final result, and the 3 or 1 point would automatically appear?

Is there something i can put in AW3 and AY3 boxes to prevent a false score, before the final result score is inputted later?

I've tried symbols, letters etc, but if they're the same letter for example, a one point score is shown if someone has predicted a draw.

Don't worry if its tricky, i can deal with it exactly like it is....
