Conditional Formatting based on Multiple Values of other Cells

Hello,

I have been looking around for an answer to this, and have no come across anything that may assist with my current situation.
I have 2 Sheets in Excel, one is already filled out with Data such as

Name Number
Ben 1
Steve 1
Ben 2
Chad 3

I am looking for Conditional formatting so that if in the second sheet someone enters something that matches both criteria, it becomes highlighted.
So if someone were to enter

Ben 1

This would cause it to highlight as that exact match of name and number exists on the other sheet, whereas something like

Ben 3

This would not cause it to highlight.

More or less looking to highlight anything that is a duplicate of the previous sheet.

Conditional Formatting is definitely not my strong suit, so any help would be appreciated.

Hi, this can be done with helper columns.

If those were both entered in column A and B respectively, in column C you could enter this (on both sheets, change the sheet ref):

That would give you a column that has both values, you could then hide this column after everything.

From there, you click a cell in row 1 and use a formula to highlight cells (under more options):

Then change the range to the entire sheet (backspace out the range, and click the diagonal square thing in the upper left corner of workbook).

That should work, but I didn't test because there wasn't a sample workbook and didn't feel like making sample data. So if there are issues, let me know and please attach a sample workbook.

Thank you both for the help, while working with both, I was able to get it to work from what JeteMc had posted. This was a massive help as I had been bashing my head on a wall on this one.
