    [SOLVED] VLOOKUP formula

i understand how to use VLOOKUP, however i need it to do something a little more complex, but dont know how to come about it.

i have a "sold spreadsheet" with ebay toy sales.
the first columns is the "Name of the item", therreafter there are several other columns and the 13th column is "Total pcs sold"

now on a seperate sheet i would like to populate all the items, hence i need a formula which will list the total amount of each toy ive sold.

so, for example, LEGO BATMAN appears in 10 different places in my "sold spreadhseet" so i need the formula to pouplate ALL the results in the second spreadsheet so i know how many LEGO BATMAN's i have sold....

    anyone can help?

    thanks

    Hi,

Maybe you havent fully explained the situation here.
But I think SUMIF should give you the solution..
