Not sure which is the best section to post this in but I am looking for help with the attached sheet. I have to allocate tasks to my employees when I write their offduty, the tasks differ depending on whether the day of the week is 1st/3rd/5th or 2nd/4th occurrence of that day in a month.
In the attached workbook I have a separate "base" sheet for 1/3/5 and for 2/4. To avoid having to print both sheets and flip between the two I hoped to be able to create a 3rd sheet, the "selection" sheet. In this sheet I would like to be able to select from a dropdown on Row 3, Monday 1/3/5 or Monday 2/4, then Tuesday 1/3/5 or 2/4 etc etc. The result of this selection would copy the information and formatting from Rows 4-33 from the corresponding sheet for the corresponding day.
In future updates to the schedule I would simply update the base sheets ready to populate the selection sheet at the next print.
I have provided an example sheet that I have manually populated to give an example of Monday and Tuesday being week 1/3/5 and the remainder of the week being 2/4.
Any help you can give would be great, I'm a novice at excel and you have all helped me out immensely in the past making things work.
